The LG Twins of the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) have hired Song Ji-joon (51), who was rated as a strong hitter during his playing days.

“The new coach will be in charge of the first team's first base department,” LG said today (Nov. 31).

Song started his professional career with the Hanwha Eagles in 1996 and played for the Hyundai Unicorns and Nexen Heroes before retiring after the 2013 season.
